Audio-Visual Production Assistant
Job Description
The Audio-Visual Production Assistant position is vital to the success of everyday church events. They maintain audio/visual equipment across the campus, as well as provides hospitable audio/visual solutions for conferences, meetings, services, and other on-campus internal & external events. The position is full or part time.
We incorporate media into just about every aspect of our ministry efforts. When the needs of any ministry outside of the worship rooms is necessary, the A/V team works to equip the rooms and spaces with the required A/V equipment to ensure the highest quality of presentation.
This position reports directly to the Media Director.
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities

Responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of audio/visual equipment.

Work with Staff and Leaders by offering excellent and hospitable audio/visual solutions.

Coordinate audio/visual details for conferences, events, and services.

Perform other related duties as assigned and specific to area of responsibility.

Troubleshoot A/V equipment and facilitate repairs when warranted.

Provide basic instruction on the operation of AV equipment as necessary to support the ministries and departments we serve.

Clean and maintain A/V equipment, report damages and misuse.

Handle sensitive, confidential information and assignments with tact, discretion, and diplomacy.

Other duties as assigned.
Ministerial Duties

Qualifications

Professional appearance and conduct.

Demonstrated Christ like Character.

Extensive technical knowledge and experience in working with sound, video and lighting systems and their design, including terminology and methodology.

Ability to troubleshoot and make basic field repairs as required on equipment.

Demonstrable experience in multi-tasking and prioritizing requests and demands.

Excellent analytical skills, interpersonal skills and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Being prompt and timely are essential to the function of this position.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education & Experience
-
High School diploma or GED required.
-
2 years minimum experience in the industry-related field working in multi-room setups, dealing with Audio, Video and Lighting. This includes signal flow, troubleshooting, electrical understanding, customer service.
